Par koraka do organizovanijih bookmarkova pomoću Clauda

Haos
Struktura i organizovanost

Ustao sam danas, popio kafu, doručkovao, usisao, izbacio đubre, upalio kompjuter i palo mi je nešto na pamet.

Imam previše neorganizovanih bookmarka, a samo ih gomilam.

2. Kaži Claudu da i odobri izradu novog HTML-a

Kada odobriš, Claude počinje da radi. Kada završi, ubaci novi HTML u bookmark menadžer.

  1. Napravi folder organize-bookmarks unutar ~/.claude/skills/ (na Windowsu, C:\Users\<ti>\.claude\skills\).
  2. Sačuvaj skill ispod u taj folder kao SKILL.md.
  3. Pokreni novu Claude Code sesiju, podeli svoj HTML i pokreni skill sa /organize-bookmarks.

Ili kopiraj skill

Kopiraj blok ispod ili preuzmi SKILL.md.

# Organize Bookmarks

Turn a messy bookmarks export into a clean, importable folder structure. The user decides the structure; you do the counting, sorting and file writing.

## Ground rules

- Never modify the original export. Write a new file next to it.
- Never open or fetch the bookmarked URLs. Sort by title and URL only.
- Never delete a link without the user's approval. Uncertain or stale links go to an Archive folder.
- Do not continue past the proposal step until the user approves the hierarchy.

## Step 1: Inventory

The export is a Netscape bookmark file (`<!DOCTYPE NETSCAPE-Bookmark-file-1>`). Folders are `<H3>` tags, links are `<A HREF>` tags, and nesting follows `<DL>` / `</DL>` pairs.

Do not read the raw file into context: `ICON` attributes hold large base64 favicons. Write a short script (Node or Python, whichever is installed) that prints:

- the total number of links
- every folder path with its direct link count
- every link as `folder path | title | URL`, with the `ICON` data stripped

## Step 2: Audit

Report briefly what is wrong with the current structure:

- **Catch-alls:** folders with many links on unrelated topics.
- **Misfiled links:** links whose topic does not match their folder name.
- **Overlap:** several folders doing the same job.
- **Loose links:** links that sit outside any folder.
- **Duplicates:** the same page saved twice.
- **Not real bookmarks:** `chrome://` pages, login screens, chat conversation links, map pins and private working files.

## Step 3: Propose a hierarchy

Follow these rules unless the user asks otherwise:

1. Name folders after what is inside, not after who made it.
2. Separate things to look at (inspiration) from things to use (tools).
3. Keep personal life in its own top-level folder, away from work.
4. The bookmarks bar holds only daily links (shown as icons) plus the top-level folders.
5. Use five to nine top-level folders, at most two levels deep.
6. Include an Archive folder for links to review later.

Show the proposed tree with the link titles that go in each folder, then list what you suggest archiving or removing. Ask the user to approve or edit it, and wait for their answer.

## Step 4: Generate the file

After the user approves, write a script that:

1. Reads the original export and collects every `<A ...>title</A>` with all of its attributes intact (`HREF`, `ADD_DATE`, `ICON`).
2. Assigns each link to exactly one folder using URL matching rules. The first matching rule wins.
3. Removes only exact duplicates and the links the user approved for removal.
4. Stops with an error that lists every link no rule matched. Fix the rules and run it again until nothing is unmatched.
5. Writes a valid Netscape file next to the original as `<original-name>_organized.html`:
   - The bar folder is `<H3 PERSONAL_TOOLBAR_FOLDER="true">Bookmarks bar</H3>`.
   - Each folder is `<DT><H3>Name</H3>` followed by `<DL><p>` ... `</DL><p>`.
   - `&` in folder names is escaped as `&amp;`.
6. Prints the link count per folder, plus how many links were kept and removed.

## Step 5: Verify

- Kept plus removed must equal the original total.
- The number of `<A` tags in the new file must equal the kept count.
- The number of `<DL><p>` and `</DL><p>` tags must match.

Report the final tree with counts, and list anything removed.

## Step 6: Import instructions

Give the user these steps:

1. Keep the original export as a backup.
2. Open the bookmark manager (`Ctrl+Shift+O` on Windows, `Cmd+Option+B` on Mac).
3. Delete everything in the Bookmarks bar. If the bar is not empty, Chrome puts the import into a separate "Imported" folder.
4. Open the three-dot menu, choose **Import bookmarks** and select the new file.

In Firefox, use **Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Import Bookmarks from HTML** instead.
